We know that COVID-19 is having a serious impact on the lives of women and children. The outreach service is currently providing telephone and email support to women experiencing abuse at home. You can call 08454 103123 for telephone support and advice. If it is not suitable or safe to call, you can email on sunflower@wa-support.co.uk. We will respond within 2-3 working days. What we offer

Peterborough Women’s Aid offers free and confidential advice to victims who are living in Peterborough who want to regain control of their lives.  In the first instance, to speak with us or to make an appointment to meet in your local area, please call 01733 894964 or email us sunflower@wa-support.co.uk

Domestic abuse is when someone close to you causes you harm by using a range of abusive behaviours which may include physical, emotional, sexual , psychological, forced marriage, honour based abuse (FM/HBA), Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) or financial abuse.

Perhaps your current or ex-partner is threatening or bullying towards you and/or any children.  It may be that your relationship doesn’t feel right. Please contact us.

We are experienced in providing support, information and advice to victims who are experiencing a range of abuse.

Who can use the PWA Outreach Service?

  • Women from any background can call us about past abuse, current abuse and any fears she has about future abuse
  • Women who have separated from their abusive partner but feel confused, alone, lacking in confidence or are scared
  • Women who have children and those who don’t
  • Women who don’t know what to do or where to turn, who for various reasons may not feel ready to leave a relationship
  • The PWA Outreach Service mainly supports women living in Peterborough.

You may feel like you can’t continue to suffer and want to talk to someone who will understand what you’re going through, and can ensure that you receive the specialist advice and support.
